Memphis Crime Beat was created to give you the tools to better understand, take a stand, and lend a hand when it comes to Memphis crime.

Together, we can transform our community by speaking up and reaching out—and wrapping our arms around our most vulnerable youth.

Our goals

Help you engage in local, state, and national politics and hold leaders accountable. From senators to school board members, make a point to find out who represents you. This site will give you the tools and resources you need communicate with elected leaders and demand accountability.

Share youth volunteer opportunities in Memphis. Volunteering with youth is a must when it comes to reducing crime. To help you find the perfect opportunity for you, we partner with 15+ youth organizations. By giving just one hour a week, you can help bring about big change.
